Who is the ADI Part 3 training course for?
The course is designed for PDIs preparing for the ADI Part 3 test and for instructors who want a stronger understanding of client-centred learning, lesson planning, risk management, teaching strategies and adapting lessons.
How much training is included?
The full programme contains more than 30 hours of online training across 35 modules, covering the knowledge and teaching decisions needed to develop effective Part 3 lessons.
What does the ADI Part 3 course cover?
The course covers the 17 Part 3 competencies, including lesson planning, pupil goals, risk management, teaching and learning strategies, fault identification, adapting support, reflection and developing pupil independence.
Does the course include real examiner feedback?
Yes. The course includes real ADI Part 3 examiner debriefs so you can see the types of strengths, weaknesses and teaching decisions examiners comment on following actual Part 3 tests.
Can online training replace practical in-car training?
No. The online course is designed to work alongside practical in-car training. It gives you the knowledge, structure and decision-making framework to apply during real pupil lessons and your Part 3 preparation.
Can I get help from a trainer while completing the course?
Yes. Throughout the course you can contact your ORDIT-accredited trainer for support by email, with Zoom support available when you need to discuss an area in more detail.
Are there downloadable resources?
Yes. The programme includes downloadable training resources and planning tools designed to help you apply the course content during practical driving lessons.
Do I receive a certificate when I complete the course?
Yes. Once you complete the full ADI Part 3 training programme, you can receive a course completion certificate from Andrew's Driving School Instructor Training.
